The airport is fully compliant with Transport Canadas regulations.
A primary function of the airport is the fueling service; this provides fuel to Department of National Defence (DND), Forest Service, private aircraft and neighbouring airports (Cranbrook) when required.
Summer maintenance includes; crack sealing on the runway, weed control, wildlife control, fencing and daily runway inspections.
Winter maintenance includes; snow removal and daily runway inspections.
